Want a smooth skin? Best Facials & Chemical Peel Treatment in South Florida
Sun exposure, acne or just getting older can leave your skin tone uneven, wrinkled, spotted or scarred. If you want your skin to look smoother and younger, consider a chemical peel, which uses a chemical solution to smooth the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers.
A chemical peel, also called chemexfoliation or derma peeling, is one of the least invasive ways to improve the appearance of your skin. Although chemical peels are used mostly on the face, they can also be used to improve the skin on your neck and hands.
A chemical peel involves the application of a chemical solution to the surface of the skin to carefully remove its outer layers. The amount of skin removed will depend on the type of chemical used, the strength of the product and how long it is left on the skin.
Glycolic Acid – Superficial Chemical Peel
The Glycolic Acid is our most superficial chemical peel. It is effective for improving the skin texture and dealing with superficial skin problems. A single peel can brighten the skin and it is perfect as a good exfoliation before a special event. However, we recommend a course of 4-6 peels sessions to produce a more significant and longer lasting effect.
Refresh Peel – Superficial to Medium Depth Chemical Peel
This chemical peel results in a slightly deeper peel making it ideal for significant skin problems such as acne, melasma (pigmentation), fine lines, rosacea and superficial scars. A single medium chemical peel will show an immediate improvement but we advise a course of 4 peels sessions at weekly intervals for best results. The refresh peel treatment progressively softens lines and wrinkles and improve age spots and acne.
Innovation Chemical Peel – Medium to Deep Chemical Peel
The innovation chemical peel is excellent for dealing with problems of pigmentation and can also deal with acne scarring, fine lines and superficial scars. It is suitable for Asian or Afro-Caribbean skin types. This is a single application peel. It is applied by our doctor and needs to remain on the skin for up to 8 hours, depending on your skin type. The treatment includes all products needed to prepare your skin prior to treatment, to remove your peel at home, and to complete your treatment course in the weeks following your peel.
